BJ's Wholesale Club, a premier operator of membership warehouse clubs in the United States, unveiled plans today to open five additional clubs nationwide in 2023. Marking a significant milestone, the retailer will establish its first-ever outlet in Madison, Alabama, extending BJ's retail footprint to 20 states.

The other locations set to open their doors are in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; Johnson City, New York; Lewis Center, Ohio; and North Jacksonville, Florida. This announcement follows BJ's successful openings in Davenport, Florida, and McDonough, Georgia, as well as the upcoming summer launch of its inaugural Tennessee location in LaVergne.

Each new location will be equipped with a BJ's gas station, offering members additional opportunities for savings. Including gas stations is a part of the company's strategy to expand its value proposition by offering lower prices on fuel through BJ's Fuel Saver Program and enhanced membership tiers.
In line with their commitment to convenience, the new locations will provide various shopping options such as in-club shopping, curbside pickup, in-club pickup, same-day delivery (Unavailable in all areas), and standard delivery from BJs.com. Members can also utilize the ExpressPay feature on BJ's mobile app to scan products and expedite checkout.

The forthcoming clubs will offer a comprehensive range of products, including fresh foods, household essentials, pet supplies, exclusive offerings, local and seasonal items, and more. Members can expect to save up to 25% off grocery store prices on their weekly shopping and enjoy the convenience of on-site gas stations.
