First founded in 2000 in Australia and New Zealand by Peter Adderton, it only took one year for Boost Mobile to make its way to the United States (wikipedia).  Boost Mobile is now one of the nation’s largest prepaid cell phone carriers operating under Sprint’s 4G LTE Network.  Boost’s mission is to simplify wireless service by offering three simple to understand mobile phone plans, which include talk, text and data services.  Boost Mobile currently services 225 million people and offers phones from brands like Apple, HTC, Kyocera, Samsung, Android, Blackberry and more.  Boost also offers a program for deployed military members to suspend their services while they are deployed, but keep their phone number without paying any service charges or reactivation fees.  To learn more about this program, click here.
