Cinnabon, started by a father and son searching for the best possible recipe for cinnamon rolls, is now considered “one of the world’s most-recognized and sought-after brands,” (FOCUSBrands.com).  Both the recipe and first location, in the Sea Tac Mall in Seattle, Washington, were founded in 1985 and by 1986 the first first franchise location was open in Philadelphia.  Throughout the rest of the decade, Cinnabon continued to develop more recipes and expand. Cinnabon uses the highest-quality ingredients to ensure that their product is fresh, delicious and well made.

Cinnabon started off the 90s with their first airport location as well as a logo rebrand (the company rebranded again in 2004, 2008, 2012 and most recently, in 2016, which remains their current design).  Throughout the 90s and early 2000s, Cinnabon introduced new products and partnerships including oil diffusers, Pillsbury Grands!™, Easy Bake Mix, Pillsbury™ Toaster Strudel™, Lip Balm, International Delight® Creamer and Seattle’s Best Coffee®, just to name a few.  

Owned and operated by FOCUS Brands, Cinnabon has grown to over 1,300 locations throughout 52 countries since its inception in ‘85.  Cinnabon has franchising opportunities throughout the United States (and worldwide) for both in-line and kiosk locations.  As of March 2018, Kristen Hartman is at the helm as President of Cinnabon; Ms. Hartman had previously served as Vice President of Marketing.
