Founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 2000, Moe’s Southwest Grill has become famous for their energetic greeting “Welcome to Moe’s!”, southwestern style menu and their music setlist. Since it’s opening eighteen years ago, Moe’s has grown to over 700 restaurants with plans to open 160 more and has franchising opportunities available nationwide.
While Moe’s is all about the food, they are also all about the music; the name Moe’s actually stands for “Musicians Outlaws and Entertainers,” in honor of the many musical pioneers who made great music and memories and left a lasting legacy (Moe’s Southwest Grill. Moe’s has a specially selected playlist in honor of those musicians, but honors it’s outlaws through embracing creativity and originality and pushing away from the “corporate, stodgy and pretentious”. Lastly, Moe’s pay homage to various entertainers through their pop-culture inspired menu items such as “Earmuffs, Wrong Doug and Alright Alright Alright… Things that made us laugh our asses off.”
Moe’s is owned and operated by FOCUS Brands, an Atlanta based leading global developer in food service brands. Since 2015, Bruce Schroder has held office as the President of the brand and Moe’s has been with FOCUS Brands since 2007.
