Company Overview
OshKosh B'Gosh was founded in 1895 in the place where the brand gets its name from: Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Originally a company that manufactured hickory-striped denim bib overalls for railroad works and farmers (OshKosh B'Gosh) decided to start producing smaller versions of the overalls for children and toddlers, a genius idea that resulted in a nationally recognized brand.
Now, OshKosh B'Gosh is nearly 300 stores strong and sells children's clothing, shoes, apparel and other accessories. OshKosh joined Carter's, Inc. in 2005, a fellow children's clothing brand who also caters to the newborn, infant, baby and toddler clientele. Together, OshKosh B'Gosh and Carter's represent two of the oldest companies who do what they do. They do what they do so well that in addition to having their own respective stores, they are also carried in stores such as BuyBuy Baby and more. Alongside parent company Carter's, OshKosh B'Gosh works on many charitable initiatives to better the lives throughout countless communities.
