Quiznos

Quiznos is a quick service restaurant chain known for its toasted submarine sandwiches, salads, and soups. The company was founded in Denver in 1981 by chef Jimmy Lambatos, who opened the first location at 13th and Grant Streets. Quiznos set itself apart early on with its focus on toasted subs and proprietary recipes, and began franchising in 1983, which led to rapid growth across the United States and internationally. The brand reached a major milestone in 2007, operating more than 4,700 restaurants and becoming the second-largest sandwich chain in North America.
