Country Curtains is a well-known American brand that specializes in window treatments and home décor, offering both ready-made and custom options. The company was originally founded in 1956 by Jane and Jack Fitzpatrick in Whitman, Massachusetts. Starting as a mail-order business from their home, the Fitzpatricks moved the operation to Stockbridge, Massachusetts in 1958 as the business expanded.

Throughout the years, Country Curtains grew significantly, establishing over 30 retail stores across 13 states, primarily in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. The brand became synonymous with quality and personalized service, largely due to its strong catalog business and later, its e-commerce platform. These efforts allowed Country Curtains to reach customers nationwide, building a loyal following with its classic and traditional designs.

The company was deeply rooted in its Stockbridge community, not only as a major employer but also through the Fitzpatricks' philanthropic efforts, which included local cultural and historic preservation projects. However, by 2017, Country Curtains faced mounting challenges from online competition and shifting consumer preferences. This led to the closure of all physical stores and the end of its retail operations.

As of November 2025, Country Curtains has been revived as an online-only retailer. While the physical stores are no longer part of its business model, the brand continues to serve its customer base through its website, maintaining its legacy of quality and customer satisfaction in the digital marketplace.
