Established in 1955 in Marshfield, Wisconsin by the Mills family, the company has grown from a single feed mill and hardware store into a regional chain. After decades operating as Mills Fleet Farm, it simplified its name to Fleet Farm in 2018.
Headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, the privately held company operates 50 stores across Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota as of July 2025.
