Mrs. Fields

Started in 1977 by a woman entrepreneur, Debbi Fields, in her kitchen with her very own recipe, Mrs. Fields is now famously known for their delicious baked goods.  Their first store opened soon after in Palo Alto.  Since it's opening nearly fifty years ago, Mrs. Fields has expanded their reputation to include "sweetness and success, famous custom decoration, hand-frosting, high-quality natural ingredients and a legacy carried on by a company of dedicated cookie-makers," (Mrs. Fields).

Currently headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, the brand is lead by CEO Dustin Lyman, also CEO of TCBY and previously CFO of the brands. Both brands, under the Famous Brands International label, are owned by Z Capital Partners, LLC., a private equity management company, which is part of Z Capital Group, LLC., an investment management company.

Mrs. Fields offers franchising opportunities throughout the United States and thirty three other countries.  With an estimated 300 locations and 4,000 employees, Mrs. Fields provides support, guidance and training to all of their franchisees.
