About Ojos Locos
Ojos Locos is a Dallas-based chain of sports bars and restaurants that opened its first location in 2010. The concept was created by a team of seasoned restaurateurs, including Randy DeWitt, who is also known for co-founding Twin Peaks. The debut of Ojos Locos coincided with the 2010 FIFA World Cup, quickly attracting soccer fans and establishing a reputation for lively, bilingual hospitality.
From its beginnings as a single Dallas restaurant, Ojos Locos has grown steadily, focusing on urban markets with large Hispanic populations. The brand is recognized for its energetic atmosphere, with female servers known as “chicas,” and for broadcasting major sporting events—especially soccer, boxing, and UFC—on numerous large-screen TVs, often in Spanish. The menu features a mix of Mexican and Southwestern American dishes, including tacos and oversized drink pitchers called “balones.”
As of November 2025, Ojos Locos operates 33 locations across Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico, with ongoing expansion into Nevada and California. Over the past five years, the company has maintained a steady growth posture, actively seeking sites in high-traffic entertainment corridors and adapting both freestanding buildings and endcap restaurant spaces for its format. The brand’s approach centers on culturally relevant hospitality and sports-centric experiences, which have helped it build a loyal following and earn recognition such as D Magazine’s “Best Sports Bar in Dallas” award.
Ojos Locos is wholly owned by FB Society and does not franchise its locations. The leadership team, based at the parent company, continues to guide disciplined site selection and market entry, supporting operational consistency as the brand expands. Commercial real estate professionals often note Ojos Locos for its ability to drive consistent customer traffic, its flexibility in converting second-generation restaurant spaces, and its appeal to an underserved demographic. The company’s active search for new sites and its willingness to adapt to various retail formats make it a credible and attractive tenant for landlords and developers in the Southwest.
