Snooze is privately owned and backed by private equity, but it does not franchise; every restaurant remains under direct company control. In October 2025, leadership transitioned to Josh Kern, formerly of SPB Hospitality, who succeeded longtime CEO David Birzon. Kern’s appointment signals a continued commitment to expansion, with a pipeline of new stores planned for 2026 and beyond.
