Over roughly twenty-five years, Vectra’s balance sheet expanded from about $1 billion in total assets to more than $4 billion, reflecting an ongoing buildout of branches and lending teams in Denver, the Front Range, mountain resort communities, and select New Mexico markets. A significant milestone in the company’s evolution was its integration into Zions Bancorporation, N.A., one of the larger regional banking organizations in the Western United States. Within that structure, Vectra serves as Zions’ primary Colorado brand. The bank’s growth has emphasized deepening its presence in core Colorado metros and along major business corridors, along with ongoing activity in resort communities and selected Western markets reachable through the Zions network. Zions has announced that Dominic Karaba will become President and CEO of Vectra Bank Colorado effective February 2026, following long-standing prior leadership.
