Dress Barn, a popular retailer of women's clothing and accessories, is coming to 2760 Wilma Rudolph Blvd., Clarksville, Tenn. According to an announcement by the city, Dress Barn has received a construction permit for a 7,263 square feet building on the site.

This opening of a Dress Barn store will mark more than 800 locations of of the retailer nationwide. It is the first Dress Barn location to be built in Clarksville.

The construction costs for the building are an estimated $160,000. Inside the building, customers will find display areas as well as dressing rooms for trying on clothes. The sales floor of Dress Barn stores typically features seasonal styles and frequent sales.

The deal made includes improvements to the property as well as parking and lighting on the site. Customers will have access to the store with a driveway directly off Wilma Rudolph Blvd.

The location favors retail development, with major retailers such as Target and Kmart within a half-mile of the building site.
