Memphis – The Fresh Market, Inc. recently unveiled its plan to open a new grocery store in midtown Memphis at the junction of Union Avenue and Cooper Street. A new store at the former Ike’s place will see the number of Fresh Market’s specialty grocery stores increase to 3 in Memphis and 8 in Tennessee –a move that is aligned with the chain’s business expansion program.
The location of the new store –the former Ike’s drugstore, is already being remodeled to reflect the Fresh Market’s unique style and brand. The renovation work that may cost the grocery chain up to $2.5 million includes a new parking lot and fresh landscaping. The Fresh Market’s grocery stores are renowned for their cool and inviting ambiance since they designed to offer customers the ultimate shopping experience.
