York County is all set to introduce its residents to the high end grocery chain, The Fresh Market very soon. According to plans filed with the township, the North Carolina based grocery store is all set to make a grand entry in West Manchester Town Center.

The Fresh Market has been listed as a tenant on the plans for the space at 480 Town Center Drive, which is strategically between Burlington and DSW. According to Rhino Realty Group's online marketing brochure the space is 21,754 square feet. Rhino Realty is handling the leasing for the Town Center.

Information about the inauguration of the store could not be verified. Sales and Leasing specialist for Rhino Realty, Kevin Potter declined to comment. Tony Ruggeri an officer working with Dallas based M&R Investors, the Town Center's developer also refused to comment on the status. When Carly Dennis, an outside spokesperson for The Fresh Market was contacted, she too refused to comment on the developments.

The Fresh Market is a chain of supermarkets based in Greensboro, NC. It was founded by Ray and Beverly Berry on March 8, 1982. Currently it operates 180 stores in 27 states which include four stores in Pennsylvania. Its nearest location to the new store is in Towson, Maryland.

A new CEO has been appointed recently. An announcement was made recently to undertake a strategic and financial review of its business, which could result in a sale of the company.
