SCOTTSDALE -- Rural/Metro Corp. has signed a long-term lease with Transwestern for a 90,000 sq. ft. of Class A space in the Pima Office Pavilion. The leading provider of VIP ambulatory and fire protection services has a strong presence in 21 states comprising of almost 700 communities. In addition, Rural/Metro Corp. is set to establish its new national headquarters at the Pavilion, located at 8465 North Pima Road.
Constructed in 2008, the Pima Office Pavilion is next to the Loop 101 Freeway in an upper end Scottsdale neighborhood.
Rural/Metro was incorporated in 1948 and has managed to keep up with the changing times and is currently the second-largest firm in its industry with over 10,000 employees in the United States alone. Various reports indicate that its ambulances transport more than 1.5 million patients annually.
