Yard House, described as a “modern American gathering place where beer and food lovers unite,” (yardhouse.com) is probably most known for their 100+ tap beer system, although, they are also notable for their selection of classic and contemporary rock music.  One of Darden Restaurants chain restaurants, Yard House has plans to expand their national brand with 150-200 potential locations to their existing 63 locations.

While Yard House is described as an “upscale, casual” restaurant and is great for patrons from all walks of life, they are mostly frequented by “twenty, thirty and forty-somethings who stop in to grab a burger and beer, meet friends and co-workers for happy hour to celebrate a special occasion,” (darden.com).  Every Yard House location boasts their 100+ tap beer system, however, selection varies by location, ensuring there is something for everyone.

Yard House’s menu includes countless options such as their house favorite entrees,  appetizers, snacks, soups and salads, steaks and ribs, seafood, street tacos, pizza, grilled burgers, sandwiches, Gardein ™ (which includes vegetarian options), lunch items and desserts.  Just like their beer selection, menus vary by location.

Additionally, Yard House works towards bettering their communities through their participation in Darden Harvest and The Darden Foundation.  Darden Harvest donates unused, surplus food to food banks and other charitable organizations nationwide. The food is made, frozen, stored and donated weekly.  The Darden Foundation supplies grants (over $82 million to date) to organizations aimed at bettering communities around the country, some of which include: American Red Cross, Feeding America and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
